The Connection Between Oral Health and Overall Health
There is a large body of research that links oral plaque to various systemic illnesses. This list includes, but is not limited to: heart and stroke disease, respiratory illness, rheumatoid arthritis, diabetes, pregnancy complications, Alzheimer’s disease, Osteoporosis, Sjogren’s syndrome, and various cancers.
